When I was little my mum used to wash my favourite toy in the washing machines and I used to sit next to the washing machine like a loyal puppy watching her go around and around. I used to really upset when my Mum hung her up on the washing line.

The spin cycle ripped him open from stem to stern!

Thankfully my dad was a vet, so he laid him out on a towel on the kitchen table, pulled out the sewing kit and performed emergency surgery. The memory makes me smile to this day!

I still have Rover and he still has his scars.

And I’m VERY careful when I wash my kids’ Winnie and Mr. Bunny! :)

My youngest saw his ‘Mr Cow’ repeatedly clawing at the washing machine window before being dragged back under by the spin cycle.

It’s a therapy bill I fully expect to pick up in his later years.
